KW V4 Coilovers
High-performance racing technology for daily road use with KW 3-way racing damper adjustment technology
With the KW V4 coilover suspension we combine one of our leading racing technology with a significant increase of everyday suitability for numerous high-performance vehicles. This enables an independent adjustment of the rebound stage damping as well as low-speed and high-speed compression stage damping. KW supplies the V4 with a vehicle-specific performance setting. With the adjustable dampers, drivers can – if necessary – quickly change to a comfort setting by using the integrated setting dials on the damper.
Setup – factory-set pre-configured damper setup with separately 3-way damper adjustment
The three-way adjustable high-performance dampers with the independent setting of the rebound stage by the “TVR-A”-technology as well as the low-speed and high-speed compression stage damping by the “TVCLH-A”-technology are based on the successful racing technology of the multiple overall winner of the ADAC Zurich 24h Nürburgring race and are depending on the vehicle-specific version, braced with aluminum top mounts. The new KW V4 coilovers are exclusively developed for selected high-performance-vehicles, which due to the sophisticated KW suspension technology can benefit from safer driving at the limits of their driving dynamics.

TVR-A rebound stage damping (Twin Valve Rebound – Adjustable):
The two-step, patented “TVR-A” technology enables the small volume to flow through an adjustable, conical low-speed bypass in the case of slow damper speeds, while in the case of higher piston speeds, the main rebound stage valve opens for the large volume flows. This provides a big improvement in terms of ride comfort without influencing the high-speed in the safety-relevant range. There are 16 precise clicks available for individual settings, so you can choose between more comfort or more body control.
TVCLH-A compression stage damping (Twin Valve Compression Low Highspeed – Adjustable):
With 6 precise clicks in low-speed and 14 precise clicks in high-speed range of the compression stage damping, the cross sections in the valves are decreased or increased, in order to achieve either more or less compression stage damping. The “TVCLH-A”-technology has a blow-off characteristic with large cross-sections which allows high low-speed forces for an optimum bracing of the vehicle body without raising the body in the case of wheel-induced high damper speeds (driving over curbs). The separate low and high-speed setting is always supplied with an additional rebound setting (“TVR-A”-technology) for an in dependent 3-way damper setting.
Continuously lowering
The KW V4 coilover kit allows a maximum or individual lowering within the tested adjustment range. Due to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the continuous lowering can be varied quickly and easily, even after the years.
The benchmark for coilovers
As with all KW coilovers, the engineers at KW develop in extensive test cycles on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in our test center on the KW 7-post rig the vehicle-specific KW damper setup estimated by car enthusiasts worldwide. So you will experience your car even more directly and dynamically with a KW coilover kit.
